What's In The Bag: Triple Advisor in Annapolis

Join our teammate Erin Fox, as she takes a weekend respite in the lovely Eastport neighborhood of Annapolis, Maryland. With her hubby and a Triple Advisor Travel Bag by her side, she is invincible (she’s invincible regardless but now she’s double invincible).

Versatility is vital when traveling, even more so for those last-minute weekend getaways. Erin packed our durable, lightweight, 3-in-1 Triple Advisor travel bag - part of our newest capsule collection in our fall-forward puffer material. This large tote comes with a roomy pouch you can clip inside the bag for organizing or use on its own as a clutch or a small crossbody.

Additionally, there's a sleeve to slide the tote over your roller bag handle. And, in true SCOUT fashion, we’ve designed this bag with an adjustable strap that can be attached to either the tote or the pouch to make either into a crossbody. You get your money’s worth with this one.

Erin and Cameron woke up and walked to Oscar’s Coffee. Erin loves antique-ing, and a gorgeous, creamy coffee drink is required before any form of shopping. Afterwards they had a lovely lunch at Forward Brewing, a great neighborhood brewery and restaurant with that lovely, seaside-town appeal everyone craves.

After a yummy beer and tacos, afternoon sailing on the Chesapeake Bay was sleepy, scenic, and perfect. The Triple Advisor pouch came in clutch *literally* for their sunscreen, chapstick, and phones. E and C capped off the day with a sunset dinner at Carrol’s Creek Cafe. One must have a crab cake before going to bed in Maryland or you’ll have bad dreams!

Day two begins with locally roasted coffee and Handmade pastries at Bakers & Co. Then, the pair headed to the ultimate form of relaxing exercise/mindful movement. Paddle boarding. At Quiet Waters Park, Erin and Cameron had time to just zone out, tone those arms, and enjoy nature. An activity like this is key when you’ve spent a week working, answering emails, and trying to avoid people’s Slacks. You’re unreachable on the water! Winding down a peaceful day with dinner at Davis’ Pub where Maryland Crab Soup kept their scaries at bay.

The moral of this story is to please plan an impromptu trip, y’all. It’s spontaneous, it’s easy, and it’s the perfect reset to the daily grind. And, above all else, pack your Triple Advisor.
