Let’s make Valentine’s Day baby showers a new tradition, please. No reservations or dates needed, just a happy heart and dear friends. Want to make it extra delightful? Grab some petit fours and wheel a margarita machine to the back hallway for the heathens. Oh, AND, a SCOUT product. We’re sorry! But it’s a must, and we’ve got the perfect thing.
This past weekend the Nashville girls gathered reunion-style to celebrate the darling, effervescent, smart, and lovely Coco Smith Durkin. Coco made the trip across the pond with her bump and husband, Andy, to celebrate with family and friends. As the Durkins live in London, they brought bags to check, however, we needed to keep it light and utilize that online registry. We’re in the SOUTH, and we love SCOUT, and we just couldn’t show up empty handed! Enter the Bagette…

The Bagette is a longtime favorite and ideal for international travel. She ’s very chic, very European. Gift her, fold her up in the caverns of your suitcase, and remember her when you’re going to walk to Waitrose for jacket potato ingredients. We’ll do you one even better. Know a pregnant lady who is absolutely obsessed with dogs? Hurry on over to our Spring 2026 Collection and grab her anything in our Best in Show pattern. Be prepared though. This gift wrap will be a crowd pleaser.

As is tradition, it’s great to grab one ancient estate sale baby gift, the new mom’s favorite candy, one classic book, one emotionally intelligent book, and one creepy one. There’s an unwritten fact that creepy/weird/traumatizing children’s books, like Shel Silverstein’s Where the Sidewalk Ends, make your child funnier and more creative when they’re older.

The Bagette can hold it all and is great for throwing blankets, toys, snacks, and plastic high-heeled Elsa house shoes inside. When you're wrapping this bag, feel free to weave ribbons or streamers through the grommets, stuff with tissue paper, tie bows, and add a bag charm. This is meant to be fun, y'all.

There’s a constant battle amongst friends when considering baby shower themes. Jungle? Wildflowers? Beige hues? Life of a Showgirl? Baby? If your shower is on a holiday, then you’ve got your theme right there! Valentine’s Day is extra perfect because Cupid is a baby, we believe, and he spreads love around. Which is critical at this moment. We hope you had a sweet Valentine's Day with your littles, friends, and lovers. Remember, SCOUT always has your back, cuties!
