Please just allow us to spotlight our wonderful Photography & Production Manager and Senior Graphic Designer of almost nine years, Erin Fox, before she ties the knot this summer. Erin’s spirit is creative, hardworking, driven, kind, and bright, and it would be a shame not to gas up our bride and her big weekend. Plus, there’s a little SCOUT sprinkled in, a must for employees during life’s most colorful adventures.
Those who know Erin know she’s very well-traveled. Recently, Erin set her sights on the enchanting and Nancy Meyers-esque town of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia for some pre-wedding celebration. This lovely community is just an hour and fifteen minutes from Washington, DC, so she couldn’t have chosen a more convenient spot for her local besties and family. Which is truly angelic of her! The gang rented an Airbnb right on the river, complete with a dock and deck overlooking the water.
Erin gave all her guests a Twiggy pouch and other goodies in their gift bags. The Twiggy is ideal for weekends with the gals like this as it can stow sunscreen, chapstick, lipgloss, cash, hair ties, chargers, snacks, you name it. This slim, easily packable pouch is built for keeping small things organized inside your tote bag or suitcase.
Now, on the larger SCOUT scale, Erin packed her own 4 Boys Bags with all her goodies for guests and decor for the Airbnb (the theme for the weekend was 90s, so fab). This is the biggest bag we make, and it’s made for moving and fitting all your stuff. One of our favorites for the beach, pool, travel, storage, or moving day, this bag is fabulous for a car trip to a lovely river town with your besties.
The weekend was filled with best friends, Capri Sun pouch cocktails, jumping right from the dock to paddleboards on the river, dinners on the deck, brewery trips, and exploring the gem that is the cozy town of Harpers Ferry. And, everything was an absolute dream (except for their rental car breaking down at the end of the trip).
Hearing Erin recount her time spent with her favorite people in nature is nostalgic and inspiring to us all to get outside with your gals. Get out there this summer and remember nature is free, and friendship is priceless.
