SCOUT HQ: Behind the Scenes Miami Photo Shoot

SCOUT HQ: Behind the Scenes Miami Photo Shoot

We don’t typically get political in the blog, but we believe in government-mandated spring break for all. Another hot take, adults need spring break more than children! And one more thing! Are you aware there are perfumes intended to smell like Hawaiian Tropic? Nude Beach by Riddle is a favorite. They make this scent because people have a carnal longing for the feeling of roasting in the scorching sun, stuffing potato chips into a Pub sub or Jersey Mikes, perhaps drinking a Bud Light Lime, then heading back to the condo to shower, get ready, and put on an extremely intentional “nice dinner” outfit, and heading to the local crab shack for tuna dip at dusk.

If you’re yearning, longing, and hearing the melancholic “choo-choo” of the I-need-a-break train, maybe this post will inspire you to plan a little spring break of your own. Real SCOUT employees went on a version of the spring break where they were basically working, but it was fun, so it still counts.

By sharing their behind-the-scenes footage of a quickie photo shoot in Miami with Meg, Erin, and Kaitlin, we aim to inspire, uplift, and remind you SB is for everyone! SCOUT is for everyone! Have a little fun for once, chica!!!

Full transparency, the gang was in and out in three days, and it was a little chilly and overcast, but our photographer is an industry expert as they say and made everything look like it was 87 and sunny.

The team checked several bushels of 4 Boys Bags stuffed to the gills with our beach favs. They did this because they’re heroes and want to have plenty of content to remind you of all the new product you may need for your delightful vacay (that you’re definitely going to start planning next week).

When the gals weren’t serving catalog model realness, fighting for their lives on the hella windy beach with their Stiff Ones and Original Deanos, they bopped around the greater Miami area eating sushi, trying ceviche, soaking in the art deco vibes of South Beach, visiting Deb’s fav –The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach – and enjoying each other's company (as one does on a girls' trip).

The thing about work travel with SCOUT is that it’s fabulous, hysterical, and exhausting in a rewarding way, not in a leaving-the-club-at-7am way. When we’re photo-shooting it’s like America’s Next Top Model but emotionally intelligent and joyful. After a day of “smeyesing” by the lifeguard stand, a queen deserves a freaky fruity drink and an artfully crafted burger. NEWS FLASH, you deserve this too!

Please, for in the name of all that is holy, we’re begging you to celebrate life’s colorful adventures by planning one of your own! Doesn’t need to be a full week if that sounds too scary, and we’ll allow some remote work while you’re away. Plus, no one has to know! That’s why so much of our product is water resistant and wipes clean. No evidence.
